Every Week the planning working group are sent the applications and decisions of planning from BCKLWN to discuss. The committee then make recommendations to the BCKLWN Planning department for consideration when they make the final decision.
The Committee consider the impact of the application to the community, referring to the Neighbourhood Plan. They consider many factors such as existing site use, noise, smell and fumes, environmental features, Green Belt, Conservation Area, impact on neighbour viability, public rights of way and sustainability.
All current and past planning applications can be found on the BCKLWN Planning Portal. Local residents can make their own comments directly to BCKLWN on applications online.
